Comments about Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Feline Formula Roasted Venison & Smoked Salmon Dry Cat Food:
My Siamese is VERY finicky about his food, and got into the bag on the first day we got this and instead of letting me introduce it into his diet got right down to business when I wasn't looking! There were no problems with him switching and he LOVES his new food!! I've even noticed his coat being softer and shinier! The amount you get for the price is also a bonus! I'm so happy to have found this food for him. If only they made wet food as well we'd both be even happier.

Cat had lost most of her fur. Since she started eating Taste of the Wild, Salmon and Venison her fur is coming back. She's like a new cat spirit wise and coat wise. Has done a great job.
Would highly recommend it for feline fur problems.

Comments about Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Feline Formula Roasted Venison & Smoked Salmon Dry Cat Food:
We moved to Germany about a year ago, and my cat has been very unhappy with the selection available here. Some she would even ignore and steal the dog's food. With this food, she didn't even hesitate to eat when it was put in her bowl. She only eats the amount she needs to feel full, but she is also very loud and rubs on my leg the second she is out of food :) It is such a relief to see her happy again! Very fast shipping, the only problem is once a month auto-ship was way too much food, we are still on her first 15lb bag and it has been about 3-4 months :)

Cricket is 10 years-old with 11 teeth and has always been a picky eater. She would only eat wet food until now. She will eat Taste of the Wild's Rocky Mountain Feline Formula Roasted Venison & Smoked Salmon Dry Cat Food! I didn't even buy it for her. All of my cats eat it. Yay!

Comments about Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Feline Formula Roasted Venison & Smoked Salmon Dry Cat Food:
My girls took to the new dry food right away and have been eating it much better than they did the less expensive brand I had been buying. I've noticed they are much more active and playful and can't credit this just to the cooler weather.
I placed my order on-line rather than via phone but delivery was prompt and the box containing two bags of Taste of the Wild dry food arrived in excellent condition.

Comments about Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Feline Formula Roasted Venison & Smoked Salmon Dry Cat Food:
I was searching for a quality dry cat food that wasn't going to send me into the poor house, as I have 5 cats (all rescues) to feed. I had read an article about this product being one of the best for the price. I bought it and the cats like it. It's grain-free, which I like, and it provides everything my cats need in one bag (ages 2-17).It's made with real roasted venison and smoked salmon, and is supplemented with fruits and vegetables, which as a human consuming such things I know it's the natural way to support a healthy immune system and overall good health. The cats are satisfied and I have noticed a new luster to their coats and some good muscle tone on my older guy.

I use this product in both flavors for feeding indoor and outdoor cats and they love it.
I've even given it to other cat owners and their cats loved it.
Let's be honest if the cats don't like to eat it you're wasting your money and cats love this product.

Comments about Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Feline Formula Roasted Venison & Smoked Salmon Dry Cat Food:
I started purchasing Taste of the Wild for my cats, Sarah and Dom Purringnon. They are both very finicky with Sarah being more so than Dominic. Plus, Sarah throws up a lot and not mere hairballs. She seems to throw up less on this product. I like knowing I'm feeding my cats what they're supposed to be eating were they wild. I'm so sick of products containing mostly CHICKEN!

I have 3 cats, and they all have different tastes, Rocky Mountain Feline is the first dry food I've found that fits both their palettes and my own idea of what my cats should be eating.

My cats love this product. Wish the price was lower, but, the quality is fantastic. I keep buying it for them. It seems to make their coat shiney and gives them energy.

Comments about Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Feline Formula Roasted Venison & Smoked Salmon Dry Cat Food:
I use it only once daily, as I worry that dry food is not so good as food with water for cats. Sometimes I add water. I think Lucy's coat is shinier, and it was pretty shiny to begin with.Have also added Felidae (canned) and Weruva, and find that I'm not paying any more than I paid for the Fancy Feast, aka Kitty [*], I was getting at the grocery. Since it has more real food per oz. she requires less food.

Comments about Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Feline Formula Roasted Venison & Smoked Salmon Dry Cat Food:
I feed TOTW to 5 very different cats of all ages. They all love it! It took a while for the oldest one, but she is 14 years old and finicky. All cats have great coats, the food goes farther than other brands because they get more from it. They aren't hungry all of the time and they are all more content. I used to feed only NUTRO, but my cats like this better.
I love that it gets delivered monthly and I don't hae to go to the store and "hope" that they have it. It arrives on time, it is always fresh and my cats can't smell it when it gets there!

Comments about Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Feline Formula Roasted Venison & Smoked Salmon Dry Cat Food:
One of my two babies has a intolerance for common grocery store variety dry cat food. Recently, my second cat also started having problems with a product I'd fed them many times. Both were throwing up 3 and 4 times a day. I immediately threw out the food. Because I am sometimes gone on overnight trips, I needed to find a dry food they can tolerate to keep them fed between canned meals. The Taste of the Wild brand does the trick. No vomiting since I started using it and they actually eat much less since they are able to digest it. No dyes, no grains... digestible and my two finicky babies love the taste.

Comments about Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Feline Formula Roasted Venison & Smoked Salmon Dry Cat Food:
My cats (5 year old calico shorthair and 1 year old Maine Coon kitten) adore this food - no small feat, given how much the older cat will put her nose up and refuse to eat many different brands of food!
I switched my dog to TOTW after Orijen changed formulas and it made him sick. The cats were okay with their Acana (made by the same company) at the time, but my disgust at the company's lack of response made me want to discontinue total use of their products. That, and the cats were chewing through the dog food back, to try to get to it and stealing the dog's food!
As it turns out, they like TOTW even more. The one disadvantage is that my older cat is actually eating too much and is getting kinda fat. The kitten is long and lean, though!

Comments about Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Feline Formula Roasted Venison & Smoked Salmon Dry Cat Food:
I have 2 Birmans, a mother and son. I only recently discovered this food. Both cats really like it.
I am using it as a treat. The vet told me to feed them a solid dry food that keeps their teeth clean. So I'm using this as a treat and the other for their teeth.
It does make them happy, so I'm happy too.

Comments about Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Feline Formula Roasted Venison & Smoked Salmon Dry Cat Food:
My cat could not digest moist cat food and the dry cat food he was eating was producing loose foul smelling stools. He smelled like corn meal and was gaining extreme amounts of weight. When I read the ingredients on his "brand name" cat food it listed corn meal as the first ingredient and corn by-products as the second. Since corn can cause diabetes in cats and rapid weight gain my quest began. After careful research I found Rocky Mountain was high in protein and had no grains. He had no trouble switching to the Rocky Mountain and loves it. His gastric problems cleared and his rapid weight gain stopped. He is an active Maine Coon who will soon be 1 year old. I wouldn't change cat foods for the world. The extra cost is well worth the health benefits for my Oscar.

Comments about Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Feline Formula Roasted Venison & Smoked Salmon Dry Cat Food:
We switched to this food after trying various samples. It was well received and was among the better for the price. We continue to purchase it. Currently one 15lb bag lasts for one month with 6 cats ranging from about 6months to 11 years. Everyone likes it (did not select the "good taste" and "easy to digest" as I haven't tried it myself ;-) and didn't select improves coat as everyone seemed to be okay before).

Excellent choice for grain free food. This is an economical food you can feel good about serving to your cats. Mine love the flavor of this and other TotW foods. Far better for your feline friends than many of the mainstream "premium" foods.

Comments about Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Feline Formula Roasted Venison & Smoked Salmon Dry Cat Food:
In my previous review on 8/30, I said good things about Taste and several Evo dry foods. In the last 5 months, however, while the Taste remains very popular, the Evo Weight Management is only tolerated, and the Evo Herring gets ignored. Of the three, the Taste is the clear favorite, and I've struck the other two off my shopping list.

Comments about Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Feline Formula Roasted Venison & Smoked Salmon Dry Cat Food:
This is a great product. After adopting my shelter cat 3 years ago I was told to feed him Iams. Well I did not know that it was the food that was giving my cat dry itchy skin and giving him dandruff in the winter. He was always healthy and energectic so I did not put 2 and 2 together until I adopted another shelter cat a year later. She has allergies, sensitives eyes that swell during her flare ups, and a sensitive stomach which caused her to vomit on occasion. After all the recalls I heard about with Iams and other cat food products that contained grains I decided it was time for a change! Doing some research and speaking with my vet, I decided on TOTW. I switched my cats gradually (as everyone should do). My sensitive girl cat was in the middle of an allergic flare up when we switched their food. Not only did her flare ups decrease as the food was gradually introduced, but have completly stopped after it wwas only TOTW (for 2 months now)! Her eyes are clear, no itching at all, no vomiting. As for my boy, his dandruff has all but disappeared and his eyes are always clear and clean. Both have beautiful thick dense coats and have more energy! They also do not eat as much or "gorge" themselves which makes this food really last for the quality ingredients that are in it (NO CORN!)....and they always get excited when they hear the kibble hit the bowl. If your cat has allergies try this out! I had tried eye drops, skin creams, vitamin supplements, vet trips.....but going grain free really helps your best friend! It works!!!!!

Comments about Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Feline Formula Roasted Venison & Smoked Salmon Dry Cat Food:
One of our cats was started on dry food exclusively before we got him, and will now eat only small amounts of wet food. We've tried a wide range of grain-free dry foods through samples, and he will not eat most of them. He was very enthusiastic about Taste of the Wild, so we bought a full bag, which continues to be very popular.
The only other grain-free foods he will eat are the Evo products (turkey and chicken, weight loss, herring and salmon). Between the three Evo flavors and the one Taste of the Wild, the Taste and the Herring and Salmon are the clear favorites. I was very pleased to find the Taste after a long search!

Comments about Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Feline Formula Roasted Venison & Smoked Salmon Dry Cat Food:
I have nothing but good to say about this product. I found it a few years ago when my I was having trouble finding a decent food my picky cat would eat. He LOVES this food, maintains a good weight, and has an incredible lustrous coat. I raised two different kittens on this food and they grew up strong and healthy with wonderful soft silky coats, no dandruff, low shedding, firm stools, good energy, just gorgeous animals. I don't have to feed much to keep them at a nice weight. They all like this food and beg for more. Have not had any problems with digestive upsets even though my older cat has been sensitive and prone to vomiting in the past. It is a great value for the quality. Cats should be on a grain-free food!!

Comments about Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Feline Formula Roasted Venison & Smoked Salmon Dry Cat Food:
My Modi was vomiting everyday. The store owner of a natural pet food store told me cats are allergic to corn and most all commercial cat foods have corn, especially as the first ingredient.
No more problems here and he LOVES it!

Comments about Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Feline Formula Roasted Venison & Smoked Salmon Dry Cat Food:
My cats love this food and their teeth and coats are healthy and beautiful. It took several weeks to figure out proper feeding because I switched to Taste of the Wild from a less nutritious brand. At first they began to gain, but I slowly cut back on portions and have maintained perfect healthy weight in two spayed adult females for two years. My two younger cats both ate this through kittenhood and are strong healthy cats. If you are switching, make sure you introduce the new food slowly by mixing it with the old for at least a week.

I am a vet tech and one of our clients recommended this food to me and it is great. My cat vomited up the other foods I tried feeding him but this one settled easy on his stomach and I have had no problems with it.

Comments about Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Feline Formula Roasted Venison & Smoked Salmon Dry Cat Food:
This is the most cost efficient grain free cat food out there. It's even cheaper than Iams or Science Diet is in most stores, but doesn't contain grains that cat digestive systems aren't designed to handle. Good for the coat and the cat will have less stinky poops than on a cheap food full of unhealthy fillers. My cats love it!

Comments about Taste of the Wild Rocky Mountain Feline Formula Roasted Venison & Smoked Salmon Dry Cat Food:
Two 4-month old kittens, brought home from the animal shelter, given a sample of this handed out by local pet supply store, gobbled it up instantly. Have now gone through another full bag and a half in just 6 weeks. They have a 24/7 supply of dry food (in addition to wet food 2-3 times a day)--one dish contains Taste of the Wild while another contains another brand and flavor of good-for-them dry food. They do eat the other but usually only after emptying their dish of Taste of the Wild. Can think of no "cons" about it. Can't guarantee your cats will go for it like mine do, but you may find a hit on your hands. Try it.
