Our holistic vet recommended this for routine ear care, and the dog loves it. The vinegar takes away that awful tickle/itch and the herbs leave a fresh smell. I use it on cotton pads for a quick swipe around the opening of his ears and on cotton swabs for deeper cleaning. It's not thick and goopy like other ear cleaners, which always disturbed my dogs.
