My vet put my horse on this to help get rid of the mucus in her lungs. She has had a bad cough while being ridden for 2.5 months now. It started out being all of the time. After 2 months it hadn't gotten much better and we ruled out infection. So we put her on this and some anti inflammatory drugs and after 3 weeks there has been definite improvement.
