Good for multiple cat households I have two kittens who like to go together so It fits both nicely. It was missing one of the lid locks when I received it. Better for adult cats. kittens are afraid of the door so I have to leave it open.

This box is used in a multiple (10) cat household. It is great for my larger friends as they have room to turn completely around. Don't have to squat down to get in or be inside. The see-through door allows other to see when the box is "occupied"! The only drawback is we use large scoops to clean our boxes and unless you completely remove the lid off this box, it is sort of hard to get the very front of the box scooped. BUT other than that small inconvenience I am very pleased with this box.
Service with petfooddirect.com was exceptional. The litterbox was delivered quickly and when I found a minor flaw with the box, I called customer service, spoke with a very pleasant lady who advised they would get another box out to me right away. I told her I didn't want to have to repack/mail this box back and that I would just keep the box I already had. She told me to either keep the flawed box or give it to someone who might be able to use it and they would still send me another one. How great was that? The price was great also, about alot cheaper than buying at my local pet store. Will buy from petfooddirect.com again. Thank you.

Lip on lid of box should go inside bottom of box, not over it. If you have a cat that goes on the side of the box, the urine drips down outside the box as well as gathers under the lid rim. Stinky and very much trouble to keep clean. Good size and good construction otherwise. Most covered boxes have this "outside" lip on the lid. You think cat owner-designers would have determined that this is a design flaw that could be easily remedied in future models.

My cat has grown like crazy since I got him just 9 months ago. His old litterbox was slowly becoming too small for him so I bought this "Jumbo" size and it is great! very spacious without taking up too much bathroom space!

We had a hard time finding a really big litter box, hooded, and this one is great, especially for our older cats.
