This product is super easy to give to our dog every month - but be careful! Break it into little pieces because I have heard that dogs that don't chew it fully makes the drug less effective. They love the taste of it and will swallow it whole like treats.
Processed fast and delivered promptly! Only issue was with my Veterinarian - they would not fax the RX so I had to pick it up manually. Very tedious so I am thinking about switching vets, but petfooddirect.com did an A W E S O M E job!

With other heartworm treatments I had to hide the pill in a piece of cheese, or shove it in his mouth & hold his mouth closed til he swallowed. Not fun for either of us. Now I give him a Heartguard Plus chewables like a treat, because that's what he thinks it is.
It was easy to order, but my vet is a control freak and wouldn't let Pet Food Direct send the heartworm medicine he prescribed. I have to get it from him each time. Bummer!
